Potable Water Filters
Standard and Custom Engineered Solutions
For more than 40 years, ADAMS has provided innovative potable water filtration solutions. ADAMS pioneered multiple element tubular filtration technology, designed to remove fine particulate from liquid process streams. Every ADAMS potable water system uses permanent ceramic filter tubes that provide years of trouble-free service. In fact, many of our installations have been in successful operation for more than thirty years using the original filter tubes, allowing you to benefit from lower overall operating and maintenance expenses.
The system uses a diatomaceous earth (DE) filter aid precoat, that removes particulate as fine as one micron with a typical flow density of 1 to 1.5 gallons per minute per square foot of filter area.
System Flexibility:
ADAMS offers standard or custom packaged solutions to meet your specific potable water filtration needs. We have the flexibility in our design to offer manual systems, shipped in major subassemblies for field installation, or total factory-assembled skid mounted packaged systems that can handle up to 5 million gallons of water per day.
System Automation:
ADAMS potable water filter systems offer total automation of system cycles and can sequence multiple filter operations through a programmable login controller (PLC). ADAMS potable systems can also be fully integrated to your existing DCS for central system control.
